Today I am one of those people waiting for something new as Pueblo de Panay launches the first Christmas Village in Roxas City, I can say that this is a start of something big for the Capizeños, as Pueblo de Panay seriously trying to achieve their promise to be a City within a City and definitely a Tourist Destination in Roxas City.
Reason’s of coming to Pueblo de Panay.
Pueblo de Panay – a city within a city! What else could be a better place to unwind, relieve yourself from all the stress of work and have a good quality time with your friends and family. Have a sumptuous dinner in a relaxing restaurant and proceed to a nice cup of coffee in a cozy cafe… Or perhaps pamper yourself in an accommodating hotel after doing some strolling. All these and much more, you can find in this fast-rising, mixed-use, master-planned township development.
Located in the seafood capital of the Philippines, Roxas City Capiz, Pueblo de Panay showcases the best of the History, Culture, Architecture, and Arts of Capizeños and people from Panay Island. It is home to proposed Robinsons Mall in Roxas City, the New Roxas City Public Transportation Terminal, Child’s Academy, the New Roxas City Police Station, Cafe Pueblo, Ramboys, Festa, Hotel Veronica, Urban Manor Hotel and other commercial establishments.
Pueblo de Panay is considered to be at the center of the city, being less than 2,000 meters away from the Roxas City fountain, center of old Pueblo de Capiz. It is the largest master-planned development among the capital cities and towns of Panay Island.
Equipped with modern facilities and amenities with fiber optic and wireless connectivity as well as pedestrian friendly roads and walkways, this development is integrated with a commercial business district complemented by eco-tourism areas, a special economic zone, and educational, institutional and recreational facilities to surely provide you with wide and satisfactory range of services without you having to travel from one distant place to another.
Pueblo de Panay got its name from the second oldest Spanish settlement in the Philippines – the historic town of “Pan-ay”. “Pueblo” means a small Spanish town concept of development. It is where the center of governance, education, religion, commerce, culture, recreation and other important community activities are integrated in a central “plaza” or park.
